Tuscany Travel Itinerary
DAY 1 – Sunday, October 6**
Settle into Podere Le Coppiole which will be your accommodations for your stay. Podere Le Coppiole is a beautiful Tuscan agriturismo with individual houses, private bedrooms, and ensuite bathrooms. Admire the Val D’orchia hills from a stunning infinity pool.
6:30 pm: Join us at Il Poderino (my home) for a thrilling pizza party. Engage with melodies of a traditional Italian band, savor homemade pizzas and selected wines, and end with homemade gelato under the star-spangled Tuscan sky.
DAY 2 – Monday, October 7**
9:30 am: Depart from Podere Le Coppiole to explore Montalcino. The private tour begins at 10:15 am at the Romanesque Sant’Antimo Abbey, renowned for its rich history. It is a former Benedictine monastery located in Castelnuovo dell’Abate. We will marvel at its architecture and learn about the incredible history.
11:30 am: Visit the Mastrojanni and Podere le Ripi vineyards, owned by the famous Illy Espresso Family, for a private wine tasting. Amidst breathtaking views, uncover the artistry of Brunello wine-making, followed by a picturesque lunch at their panoramic pagoda paired with their finest vintages.
3:00 pm: Explore the historical village of Montalcino with a private guided tour. Wander through its charming streets, visit ancient landmarks, and shop local artisan creations. We will even meet some of my friends and hopefully fit in a quick spritz at my favorite local bar!
8:00 pm: Dine in the historic castle, La Locanda del Castello in San Giovanni d’Asso, enjoying a 4-course traditional Tuscan dinner set in a stunning 15th-century castle.
DAY 3 – Tuesday, October 8 - OLIVE HARVEST EXPERIENCE**
9:00 am- Head to Il Poderino for an incredible immersive experience. You will enjoy a hands-on experience as you harvest olives with me in my olive grove. We will hand-pick olives and collect them in large nets before transporting them to the nearby frantoio (Olive mill) to be processed. This is a true Tuscan experience where you will learn about the harvesting process of this truly special extra virgin olive oil. Each guest will receive a bottle of the oil after the trip.
1:00 pm- Savor a three-course lunch at the farm-to-table Osteria delle Crete.
Later, unwind at the Podere le Coppiole pool, and consider an optional olive oil massage.
6:30 pm- Gala Harvest Dinner at Il Poderino. I will welcome you back to my home for an amazing Harvest Gala. We will once again dance the night away to amazing music. The cocktail hour will feature local opera singers with signature cocktails and delicious local antipasto items.
Dinner will be an incredible three course meal featuring local wine and the tunes of an amazing local Italian band.
DAY 4 – Wednesday, October 9
10:00 am: Start the day with a transfer to Frantoio Oliviera in Sant’ Angelo, one of Tuscany’s most renowned olive mills. Witness the birth of 'Liquid Gold' as olives transform into extra virgin olive oil. Be the first to taste this fresh delight!
11:30 am: Explore Trequanda's historic heart, then head to Azienda Agricola, a local farm. Savor a farm-to-table lunch and enjoy a tour around the farm.
4:00 pm: Engage in a cooking extravaganza at Castello Tricerchi, Montalcino. Upon arrival, tour the 14th-century Brunello winery castle, then flex your culinary skills in a pasta-making class. Enjoy a delightful dinner on a panoramic patio, with Castello Tricerchi's exquisite wines.
DAY 5 - Thursday, October 10
9:00 am: Start at Podere Le Coppiole, then off to an exclusive private tour of Montepulciano's historic heart. Explore hidden areas, not often seen by the public. Then we will experience an authentic Tuscan Flag ceremony at San Biagio Church, much like the "Under the Tuscan Sun" movie.
1:00 pm: An incredible lunch and wine tasting at the Osteria del Borgo restaurant.
3:00 pm: Post-lunch, we head to the charming Tuscan town of Pienza for a guided tour.
5:30 pm: End the day with a 'behind the scenes' cheese tour at Podere Il Casale organic farm. Delight in the magic of traditional Pecorino cheese-making.
Day 6 - Friday, October 11th
11:00 am: Time to bid farewell to Podere Le Coppiole as we check out. On to our next exciting adventure!

For just $4950 per person (based on double occupancy, $5,550 for singles), embark on the Tuscan trip of your dreams.
