Pear & Gorgonzola Flatbread

This EASY FLATBREAD takes no time to assemble and is delicious. I serve this with a simple salad for a quick and easy dinner, and everyone loves it.

I use a store bought flatbread for this and it can’t get any simpler. Plus you can play around with the ingredients on these.  They are so versatile.


Pear & Gorgonzola Flatbread 

(Serves 4)

1 Store Bought Flatbread

Olive Oil to Brush the Flatbread

1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella

2 oz. Crumbled Gorgonzola

1 Pear, sliced thinly

4 Slices Prosciutto, thinly sliced and cut in half

A sprinkle of Red Pepper Flakes (Optional) and Honey for drizzling

Method

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

Brush the flatbread with olive oil and put on a baking sheet and put in the oven to crisp.  About 3 to 5 minutes.

Remove from the oven and top with the mozzarellas, gorgonzola, pear and prosciutto.  Sprinkle on red pepper flakes and bake for 15 minutes.

Serve with a drizzle of honey.
