Ghost Pizza

This Ghost Pizza is so easy to make and so festive. It is sure to make your Halloween extra spectacular.  Your kids will love it too. I use a store bought flatbread.  The Brooklyn Bred brand Pizza Crusts are incredible. Their products are highly quality, not to mention that they are GMO free. For the sauce, I used my leftover marinara, be sure to check out that recipe.  Then I used a ghost cookie cutter to cut the mozzarella into ghost shapes.  This recipe comes together in minutes.

Ghost Pizza

1 Store Bought Flatbread

1 Cup of Tomato Sauce- See My Homemade Marinara Recipe

2 Tbsp. Grated Pecorino Romano

16 oz. Low Moisture Mozzarella

3 Black Olives Sliced

Ghost Cookie Cutter

Preheat the oven to 400 Degrees.  Line a baking sheet with parchment. Place the flatbread on the parchment and put in the oven for 10 minutes (it will begin to crisp up). In the meantime, take the whole mozzarella and slice it into ¼ inch thick squares.  Use your cookie cutter to cut out the ghost.  You will need 5 ghosts.  Take any remaining mozzarella and reserve for another use.

Remove the flatbread from the oven and spread the sauce over the top.  Sprinkle on the grated cheese.and get it back in the oven for 5 minutes until the sauce is hot.  Take out of the oven, and position the ghosts on top of the sauce.  Use the sliced olives to make the eyes and mouth on each ghost and get the pizza back in the oven for 4 minutes.  You do not want to keep it in any longer or your ghosts will not hold shape.
