Ravioli with Sage Butter Sauce is a simple yet elegant dish that is great any night of the week. This is a typical dish that I have when I am at my Tuscan home. I love to come home and make it for my family because it is not only easy to do but it is delicious.
Ingredients
(Serves 4)
1 lb. Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli
½ Cup Salted Butter
8 Fresh Sage Leaves
½ tsp. Nutmeg
¼ Tsp. Black Pepper
Pecorino Romano to taste
Method
Boil the pasta water.
In a large skillet, heat the butter on a low flame until it starts to bubble and add in the sage leaves.
Boil the ravioli.
Add the nutmeg and black pepper to the butter sauce.
Reserve some pasta water.
Drain the pasta and add to the sauce.
Sprinkle in Pecorino Romano to taste and serve.
