Baked Feta with Warm Olives

Baked Feta with Warm Olives is an easy appetizer that is bursting with amazing flavors. 


Baked Feta with Warm Olives

(Serves 6)

¾ cups Calamata Olives, pitted

¾ cups Green Olives, pitted, I use Sicilian

½  Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

⅛ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes

2 Rosemary Sprigs

2 Thyme Sprigs

1 Lemon, quartered

¼  tsp. Salt

¼ tsp. Black Pepper

8 oz. Feta Block 

Sliced Italian Bread to serve, I like it toasted

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

In a bowl combine the olives with the olive oil, red pepper flakes, rosemary, thyme, lemons(squeeze them as you add to the bowl), salt and pepper.

Place the olives in an oven safe pan and place the feta in the middle.  Pour any remaining liquid from the bowl over the feta.

Get it in the oven for 35 minutes. Remove and serve with slices of toasted Italian bread.
