Italian Style Steak is so easy and delicious you have to try.
For this recipe, as in any recipe that I show you quality ingredients are so important. I use my extra virgin olive oil made in Tuscany and Teresa’s Tuscan Spice. Remember good quality simple ingredients are key!!!! Both are available right ere on my website.
INGREDIENTS
1.5 lbs Flank Steak
DRY RUB
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp. Pepper
½ tsp. Italian Spice Blend
MARINADE
½ Cup Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves, chopped.
4 tbsp. Balsamic, HIGH QUALITY
½ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
½ tsp. Italian Spice
2 tbsp. Chopped Fresh Rosemary
METHOD
Put the steak on a platter and sprinkle on both sides with the salt, pepper and Italian spice. Let that marinate for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
Then, in a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, balsamic, salt, pepper, Italian spice, and chopped rosemary.
Combine well and pour half of the marinade over the steak and let that marinate for about 25 to 30 minutes.
In the meantime, heat up the grill. Cook the steak on both sides to your liking. Let the steak rest.
Take your Marinade and warm it up in a small sauce pot. And in all the drippings from the pan. Slice up the meat and pour over the sauce and serve.
