Spooky Graveyard Chocolate Pudding Cups with Crushed Oreos
(makes 8 – 2oz servings)
Chocolate Pudding
5 Cups of Whole Milk
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
¾ Cups Cocoa Powder
½ Cup Cornstarch
½ tsp. Salt
1 ½ tsp. Vanilla
½ Cup Butter
½ Cup Chocolate Chips
24 Oreos – Creamy middle removed and cookies crushed into dirt
Assorted candy like sugar pumpkins and gummy worms for decorating
Put the milk in a pot and begin to warm on medium to low heat. In a bowl, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch and salt. Add this mixture to the milk and whisk continuously. The mixture will begin to simmer. Lower the heat and continue to whisk until it thickens. About 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the vanilla, the butter and the chocolate chips. Mix until all incorporated and melted. Put the pudding in the individual cups. Cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for about 5 hours. Now it is time to make the graveyards. Top the pudding with the oreos (dirt). Use the other candy to decorate.
