Chocolate Dipped Reindeer Pretzels are such fun holiday treats that you can make with your children. They really are so easy to make, and honestly I love the sweet and salty taste of these. They are great to have for a snack, a hostess gift, your kid’s school holiday party or even a teacher gift.
A few tips…For the nose, I used peanut M & Ms but you can use any round candy that is red or even green.
Also, use high quality chocolate. I love @Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers. But you can even use semi-sweet or milk chocolate.
Recipe below and on my website.
Chocolate Dipped Reindeer Pretzels
(Makes 25 Reindeers)
50 Pretzel Sticks
3 Cups of Highly Quality Melting Chocolate ( I use dark but you can use what you like)
1 Large Package Christmas Peanut M & Ms (I used only the red ones)
50 Candy Eyes
Line a few baking sheets with parchment paper. Put the chocolate in a large mug in the microwave until it is melted. Dip a rod in the chocolate, covering the pretzel almost halfway in the chocolate. Place it on the parchment and repeat this process for the second pretzel. Place pretzels adjacent to each other to form the reindeer head. Add two eyes and the M & M for the nose. Repeat this process for the rest of the reindeer pretzels.
