Nutella French Toast
Ingredients:
4 slices of Brioche bread sliced ¾ to 1 inch thick
4 Tbsp of Nutella
1 egg
½ cup of whole milk or half and half
1 Tbsp of sugar
2 tsp of vanilla
1 Tbsp of butter
Powdered sugar for garnish
Fancy Valentine’s sprinkles for garnish
Homemade whipped cream
Strawberries for garnish
Directions:
Spread the Nutella on each of the 4 pieces of bread and join them like a sandwich. In a bowl whisk egg, milk, sugar and vanilla. Dip each sandwich into the custard. Preheat a large skillet over medium high. Spray with cooking spray and add the butter. Add the french toast and cook each side until golden brown about 1-2 minutes per side. Dust with powdered sugar and top with sprinkles and strawberries.
