Brie Brulee Bruschetta with Fig Jam and Prosciutto
1 Small Loaf Crusty Italian Bread – Sliced Into ½ Inch Pieces
1 Small Brie Wheel – Cut in Half and Then Sliced Into Strips
4 Oz. Prosciutto
Fig Jam- about ½ Cup
Honey for Drizzling
½ Cup Turbinado Sugar
Olive Oil & Salt to Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Brush each piece of bread with olive oil on both sides and sprinkle with salt. Bake in the oven until toasted through. Take the toast out of the oven. Spread the fig jam evenly over each piece. Top each piece with prosciutto. Drizzle with honey. Then add the brie to each toast and sprinkle it with the sugar. You can then put these back in the oven to broil or use a cooking torch directly to torch the sugar to form a crust.
