Maple Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso With Oatmilk
For the Syrup
¾ Cups Brown Sugar
¾ Cups Water
1 tbsp. Real Maple Syrup
1 tbsp. Cinnamon
For the Drink
2 Shots of Espresso
½ Cup Oatmilk
In a pot put the brown sugar and water. On a low flame start to heat the mixture until the sugar begins to dissolve. Add the maple syrup and the cinnamon and slightly raise the heat. Cook until all the ingredients are well incorporated. Cool and store in a container that is airtight. It can last in the refrigerator for up to a month.
To make the drink, pour two shots of espresso over ice. Shake it well. I like to use a mason jar. Add the syrup and mix. Then top with the Oatmilk. Serve.
