Italian Hot Chocolate
7 oz. Dark Chocolate – Chopped
4 Tbsp. Sugar
5 Tbsp. Cocoa – Unsweetened and sifted
2 Cups + 2 Tbsp. Milk
1 Tsp. Cornstarch
In a small bowl whisk ½ cup of milk with the cornstarch. Put the cocoa and the sugar in a bowl and set aside.
In a small put 1 1/2 cups plus 2 Tbsp. of milk. Heat until it starts to boil and reduce to a low heat. Whisk in the cornstarch mixture. Add the cocoa slowly until the milk becomes smooth. Add the dark chocolate and stir until it is melted. Served topped with whipped cream.
