My rosemary flavored Grissini (Italian Bread Sticks) are so delicious you will not be able to eat just one. Plus they are so easy to make. Literally mix all the ingredients together, let it rest and then roll them out. It is that simple. These are great to snack on or use in an antipasto platter or charcuterie board!

Makes about 28 Breadsticks
2 ¾ cups of All Purpose Flour
1 tsp. Of Instant Dry Yeast
1 ¼ tsp. Salt
¾ Cups of Warm Water
¼ Cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter – Melted and Cooled Slightly
1 tsp. Honey
1 tbsp. Rosemary
1 Egg – Beaten
In a mixer fitted with a dough hook, combine all of the ingredients on low for about 3 minutes. You can stop the mixer a few times and scrap off any ingredients from the sides of the bowl. After three minutes increase the speed slightly and mix for another 5 minutes. A ball will form. Note if a ball doesn’t completely form, use your hands to help it along, and then cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Let it rest for an hour.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and place parchment paper on baking sheets.
Once the dough has rested, cut it in half. Form the half into a log that will be about 14 inches long. Then cut the log into 1 inch pieces. Do the same with the other half. Next take each one inch piece and roll it into a log about 6 inch long. Twist each breadstick a few times (this will give it a twisted look) and place on the parchment paper about 1 inch apart. Brush each stick with the beaten egg. You can even sprinkle them with sesame seeds at this point. Place in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes until the sticks are completely hardened. Remove from the oven and cool. Store in a ziplock bag until you use them.
